Tools are one of the best investments you can make, whether you are a home, or shop mechanic. Here at powerequipmentshop.com we are devoted to finding you the best and affordable Neiko tools on the market today. It is important to know that good hand tools will last many years if not your whole lifetime, far better than just about anything else we buy. I have learned from the past that I don’t need one of every tool made. You just need enough of the basics to do most jobs, any other tools you need just get them when needed. Another point to remember is that we don’t need the very best tools, you just need a good quality tool for normal maintenance and repair.

For anyone who wants to repair and maintain their own vehicles it is a must to have a good selection of tools. The initial investment may seem high for the person who has just a few tools, but if you compare the cost of professional auto maintenance and repair it turns out to be a wise choice.  To help you understand which tools a person needs to get the job done, I will list them for you. The tools in this list should be considered the basic tools for routine maintenance, and minor repair tasks.

We recommend that you purchase a combination wrench set, box end & open end combined in one wrench. Even though they cost a little more than just open wrenches, they offer advantages to having both kinds in the same wrench. This combination set should cover from size 1/4 inch to 1 inch and 6 mm to 19 mm., A 10 inch cresent wrench, Spark plug socket/with the rubber insert, Spark plug gaping tool, Feeler gauge set, tire pressure gauge, Combination plier set, Brake bleeder wrench, Hacksaw & assortment of blades, Grease gun, Oil can, Wire brush, Battery post & cable cleaning brush, Oil filter wrench, Funnel medium size, Drain pan, SAFTEY GOGGLES, Standard screwdriver 5/16 x 6 inch, Phillips screwdriver #2 x 6 inch, and most importantly you will need two Jack stands for safety when lifting your car or truck.  I have given you a basic tool list to help you get started on your way to accumulating and building up a tool box that will handle the simpler jobs you will experience. Eventually this beginning set of tools will expand over a period of time as you get more experienced and confident in working on your own cars. You will be able to determine if the cost of the tool is worth it based on the amount you use the tool. We hope this helps you get started to a start of collecting your tools.

The aircat ratchet runs on free speed of 320 rpm’s, and also comes with a Ergonomic handle and trigger for easier use for the mechanic.

The 3/8″ aircat air ratchet is great, and very powerful with alot of torque . Great buy for the price. The unit can handle all kinds of tech work on continuous duty. It is well built and solid but remarkably comfortable to hold. I also recommend that proper maintenance be applied when using all air tools. It is important to keep the air ratchet lubricated for ease of running. The main thing to remember is that all air tools will have a longer life when the air inlet lines trap foreign particles and water before intering the air tools. Come and check out other  aircat tools of professionals at powerequipmentshop.com.
